broken things

sometimes, broken things remain in our storage boxes. we simply couldn't throw them away. i am guilty of this habit (i reigned as abubot queen for some time, i am now trying to change that, hehe). for some, broken things would be junk, perhaps, the object may be junk, but the memory that goes with it is priceless. however, at some point, we should all learn to let things go, and be acquainted with a good dose of detachment. besides, eventually things will have to go, but nothing can take away whatever thought, emotion or memory these things evoke. having served their purpose, it is only fair to give them the rest they deserve.

what is all the emo about? nothing really. hehe. i have here some pictures of my broken things...before and after they were broken...

no, this isn't the latest from breadtalk, hehe, it's my stress ball brain (from ate) which gave in to being the cracked brain altogether

this one is ate's pedometer, she lost the cover for the battery but the pedometer clip is intact.

this is my broken pedometer, i broke it during my final lab class

posterior view of the broken pedometer, hehe

then amidst all brokenness, something good happened:

the transplant: the battery cover of the blue pedometer was transfered to the red one, rendering parts and pieces of two broken things useful again...

"one person's loss could be another person's gain"

i already bought two new pedometers. i've been told that a spare comes in handy, especially when one accidentally drops it in the toilet (but that is somebody else's story, hehe....)
